Why Merch?
Merch is key to funding my recording and production costs. While I wish I had chosen a less expensive passion, sometimes passions choose us. To create and share my music with others, I need to generate income, and purchasing merch helps make that possible. Why so pricey, you may be wondering?
Well, I use a print-on-demand service that helps reduce waste by not bulk producing. This service handles material sourcing, printing my designs, fulfillment, shipping, taxes, and even troubleshooting customer service issues. Because of these service costs, my profit margins are quite slim. Like Slim-Jim slim. To ensure I can actually make a profit, fund my music endeavors, and afford to continue creating and recording new music, I’ve had to up my prices to account for all the processing hubbub.
